The Dream Fellows program is a 10-month immersive experience in Washington, D.C., designed to equip and empower the next generation of pioneer leaders to weave faith into their vocation. Through hands-on ministry, tailored training, and one-on-one mentorship, you’ll sharpen your gifts, deepen your faith, and step confidently into the purpose God has set before you. This is more than a program—it’s a launchpad for Kingdom-minded leaders ready to create, innovate, and transform the world.

Our Program
The Dream Fellows program at National Community Church is designed to enrich your understanding of a Christ-centered life, blending practical work experiences with deep spiritual formation. As a Dream Fellow, you will:

Fellows actively support The Dream Collective, assisting with networks, gatherings, and resource deployment. This involvement provides invaluable networking experiences while making a tangible impact on the community.
Participants engage in spiritual and professional development workshops, serve in community outreach projects, and cultivate a strong sense of faith-driven purpose.

As a Dream Fellow, you're not just a participant; you become a staff member of National Community Church. This role comes with the responsibility and privilege of contributing to our vibrant community and church life.

Fellows will live together in a shared house, creating a close-knit community where everyday interactions foster both personal and collective growth. This environment is designed to strengthen your spiritual and personal foundations, with weekly communal meals, discipleship groups, and transformative retreats that nurture deeper connections.
Additionally, you’ll have networking opportunities with fellow visionaries and leaders within the Dream Collective, encouraging collaboration and growth as you collectively pursue your Kingdom-focused dreams.

Previous ministry and leadership experience is preferred, and specific experience in the desired ministry focus area is certainly favored. We also look for people with a clear sense of calling who dare to dream big dreams for the Kingdom of God. We are also big believers in attitude, flexibility, sense of humor, and ability to work within a team environment, so we weigh those heavily.

The Dream Fellows runs from September (the Thursday after Labor Day) through July (the last Sunday of July).

No, it's much more. It's hands-on ministry, where you'll be treated as a staff member and held to the expectations of all other NCC staff members. You won't be treated like an "intern." You'll be viewed as a vital part of our staff team.

There is no tuition fee for the Dream Fellows Program. Fellows are provided housing and receive a monthly stipend of $2000, with $500 allocated for building-related expenses. While all program materials are covered by NCC, fellows are responsible for their personal living expenses.. Additionally, fellows have the opportunity to fundraise above the $2000 stipend, which can be coordinated through our finance office.
