Missional Innovation Program

Ministry Reimagined

National Community Church has always been on the forefront of innovation. NCC was one of the first churches to go multi-site, growing to eight locations across the DC Metro area. Compelled to engage in ministry in the marketplace, NCC first launched locations in movie theaters and performances spaces, eventually launching businesses such as a coffeehouse, movie theater, art house, conference venue. Intent on reflecting the makeup of our city, NCC has remained committed to pursuing multicultural church and committed to unity across political aisles.

Just as there are teaching hospitals, we have always considered ourselves a teaching church. It our our joy to help leaders take the necessary steps to advance their God-given vision.

We are now offering a one-year Master’s of Ministerial Leadership (MAML) through our Missional Innovation Program!

THE NEXT STEP FOR YOU

Come Learn With Us!

You are a visionary leader. You are called with a purpose. But every vision requires a next step. Sometimes the distance between what God has placed in your heart and where you are today can feel daunting. The vision is clear, but the bridge to get there isn’t always. What do I need to learn? What are the next steps to achieve the vision? How do I steward what God has already placed in me for the work He is calling me to?

You don’t have to take that next step alone. This is more than ambition. More than a degree. More than advancing a career. It’s an invitation to be formed for spiritual leadership.

This is about taking what God has already placed in you and taking the next step to steward it with greater depth, wisdom, and purpose. Because the goal isn’t simply to become a better leader.

It’s to become the kind of leader God can use to bring His presence, wisdom, and renewal into the world around you.

What is the Missional Innovation Program?

The Missional Innovation program combines an accredited graduate degree partnering with Southeastern University with an intentional, in-person leadership and formation experience through National Community Church and the Dream Collective.

Students pursue their Master of Arts in Ministerial Leadership (MAML) through SEU while learning alongside a cohort of leaders. On-line learning is supplemented with learning experiences hosted at National Community Church in the heart of the nation’s capital.

The goal isn't simply to earn a degree. It's to grow as a whole leader… spiritually, academically, relationally, and practically.
